A Single-Phase Current-Source Converter Combined with a Hybrid Converter for Interfacing an Electric Vehicle and a Renewable Energy Source

This paper presents a single-phase current-source converter (CSC) combined with hybrid on the dc-link, allowing to interface an electric vehicle (EV) and renewable energy source (RES). Therefore, power grid is only performed through CSC, which also permits operation as shunt active filter (SAPF), compensate quality problems related current low factor in electrical installation. The whole system composed by two main stages, namely, CSC that responsible for compensating harmonics factor, well operating grid-tied inverter or rectifier, interfacing dc-link of converters EV RES interfaces. As demonstrated along paper, allows SAPF, bidirectional mode, specifically operation, injecting from RES. In electronics structure described principle introduced, supported description control algorithms. validation results show proper conditions namely exchanging mode SAPF.
